Cold Weather in Seattle when we were hoping for spring!

Around 75% of jobs that we go to for flood damage are the result of pipes freezing and breaking. This canflood-main be prevented by covering the outside faucet with a faucet cover and making sure to turn the water completly off. If the temperature reaches below 32′ (which is does often in Seattle) you will be ok as long as you have done this simple step.

Water heaters can break too.  If you have any exposed water lines, wrap them up.

If a pipe does break, first call a plumber or repairman to fix the problem.  Call us for recommendations if you don’t know of someone.

Second, if water has gotten in your home, call us at 800-466-8299 and we can perform water extraction and drying of your home.

Being prepared is important, but when distaster strikes, call NW Green Clean- 800-466-8299
