Blip Toys of Minneapolis, Minn. has recalled 15,000 “Nature Wonders HD Pinto” horse toy figures made in China and sold at Wal-Mart because the surface paint coating has excessive levels of lead that can endanger children.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission announced the recall Jan. 26, 2010.

This recall involves white plastic horse toy figures with brown spots, measuring about four-inches tall. The model number 92093 and the phrase “Nature Wonders HD” are printed on the retail tag wrapped around the horse’s leg. The toys were sold at Wal-Mart from January to July 2009 for about $4.
Parents can get a free replacement toy from Blip Toys by calling 888-405-7696 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. CT Monday through Friday, or visiting bliptoys.com/recall.
